Creating with my hands gave me a way to slow down, quiet the noise, and feel like myself again. Over time, art also became one of the ways I connected most deeply with my daughters—sitting together, trying something new, and making memories around the table.

I created The Artist’s Nest so other women and families could experience that same sense of peace, confidence, and connection through creativity.

Are these paint classes suitable for kids?

Yes! Our paint classes are designed to be kid-friendly and beginner-friendly, with simple, guided instruction that makes painting approachable for young artists.

Some classes—like those in the Colorful Creatures series—are especially well suited for younger kids, with shorter class times (about 45 minutes) and easy-to-follow steps. Other classes, such as scenic or more detailed paintings, are better suited for ages 8+ or for kids who enjoy longer, more focused creative time.

Adults don’t need prior art experience to help—each class includes clear guidance, and we also share helpful tips for painting with little ones, so you can enjoy the experience together.
