Why I Created This Experience

For years, I believed creativity was something you were either born with or you weren't.

Growing up, I admired my sister's incredible talent. She creates beautiful realistic portraits, and I honestly thought that ability was simply something she was born with. Somewhere along the way, I convinced myself that because art didn't come as naturally to me, I just wasn't creative.

Years later, after my first daughter was born, I wanted to illustrate a children's book I had written for her. That experience changed everything.

With guidance, practice, and simple techniques, my artwork began to improve. I realized creativity wasn't a gift reserved for a lucky few—it was a skill that could be learned.

Today, I create art with my daughters because I never want them to grow up believing they "just aren't artistic."

Not at all.
