The Heart Behind The Artist's Nest

Hi, I'm Janeth.

For me, creativity has always been more than making something beautiful.

During seasons of anxiety, I found myself turning to creative projects as a way to slow down, quiet my mind, and simply enjoy the process of making something with my hands. Over time, creativity became one of my favorite ways to connect with my daughters. Some of our sweetest memories have been made around the table—talking, laughing, and celebrating each finished masterpiece together.

Those moments inspired me to create The Artist's Nest.

A place where women can rediscover their creativity, children can build confidence through art, and families can make meaningful memories together.

Because I don't believe the real masterpiece is the finished painting.

I believe it's the confidence you build, the peace you find, and the connections you create along the way.

I'm so glad you're here, and I can't wait to create with you.

More Than Just Painting

When I created The Artist's Nest, I didn't want to build another website full of painting tutorials. I wanted to create meaningful experiences.

Experiences that help children discover confidence through creativity.

Experiences that give women permission to slow down, reconnect with themselves, and enjoy making something with their own hands.

Experiences that bring families together around the table to create memories they'll remember long after the paint has dried.

Because the finished painting is only part of the story.

The real masterpiece is the confidence, connection, and joy you discover while creating it.

My Greatest Inspiration

Some of my favorite moments happen around our kitchen table or in my little studio, creating alongside my daughters.

Watching them proudly hold up a finished painting, seeing their artwork displayed around our home, and hearing them say, "Look what I made!" reminds me why I do this.

They inspire many of the ideas you'll find here, especially Beakcasso Animal Art Camp, where creativity becomes an adventure and every completed painting is another reason to celebrate.

They remind me every day that creativity isn't about perfection.

It's about curiosity.

It's about trying.

It's about discovering what you're capable of creating.
